Who Are We
Welcome to Holiday Park Ace, my name is Joe and I’ll briefly explain why this website was started. Don’t worry it wont take too long!
As we all know, going abroad can be expensive and when I was growing up, we didn’t always have the money to go to Spain or Greece but what I did have, were the best parents who would make sure we got away somewhere. As a child even a couple of hours down the motorway felt like an adventure across the world!
Which is one of the fundamental reasons I started this site, to provide families and couples with choices of a great family break without having to spend a fortune going abroad. There are some stunning locations throughout the UK, that many of us have failed to consider.
No matter if your looking for a cheap weekend, last minute break or something to keep the kids entertained over the summer holidays, we’re confident we can find you some of the best parks in the UK.
Family Holiday Parks
When booking a UK holiday park, I want you and the family to have the most incredible time and make memories for a lifetime. So, it’s important that you get a few things right when deciding and here I am going to show you some of the factors people consider when searching:
Type Of Holiday Park
If you are a large family who are celebrating an anniversary or birthday, then you will more than likely want a park that has the best onsite facilities with activities to take part in. Compared to maybe a couple who are after a romantic escape in the countryside somewhere.
Make sure you factor in travelling and whether you want to do a couple of hours or a long journey. It all depends on how long you are staying at the park for and whether you have children or pets travelling in the car with you.
When To Book
When booking a holiday, you don’t want to overpay, so it’s imporatnt that you take into consideration the time of the year when your looking to go. The summer months are always going to be the most expensive with kids being off school for the 6 weeks summer holidays, and we found some of the cheapest holiday parks were in mid September once the kids have gone back to school.
Cornwall / Devon / Dorset
These 3 locations are incredibly popular among families and couples who love the seaside. Whether that’s trying out new water sport activities, admiring the panoramic views that are always on offer or perhaps doing a bit of shopping in the quiet market towns. Usually the weather is far better here than most of the country, which is also a deciding factor for caravan holidays on the South West coast.
Yorkshire / Lake District
These two large counties are well knows for their majestic views, rolling countryside and large lakes, which makes it a perfect weekend break for families with pets. You can spend hours exploring the miles of walking trails, cycling routes and even stop at one of the many heart warming country pubs that are located in the quaint villages.
Blackpool / Skegness
Two of the most iconic seaside towns the UK has to offer, these great places never fail to deliver, especially if your a family with children. With tons of attractions, some of the best beaches and quality local food, what more could you ask for!
